Biogenic amines are a group of biologically active nitrogen-containing low molecular weight organic compounds. They can be divided into two categories: monoamines and polyamines. Monoamines primarily include tyramine, histamine, putrescine, cadaverine, phenylethylamine, and tryptamine. A certain amount of monoamines has a significant effect on the dilation and contraction of blood vessels and muscles, playing an important role in regulating mental activities and the cerebral cortex. Polyamines mainly include spermine and spermidine, which promote the synthesis of DNA, RNA, and proteins during the growth of organisms, accelerating growth and development. Polyamines can bind with intracellular DNA and serve as promoters for ribosome frameshifting during translation. When the synthesis of polyamines in cells is inhibited, cell growth may stop or be severely delayed, while exogenous polyamines can restore the growth of these cells. In rapidly proliferating cells, the polyamine transport system is highly active, making it a target protein for some chemotherapy drugs.

Sample Requirements:
Blood samples, bile, etc.: 10 microliters
Various tissues: 10 milligrams

Sample Transportation:Considering 3-4 kg of dry ice evaporates in one day, please use an adequate amount of dry ice for transportation (it is recommended to use larger blocks of dry ice as they evaporate more slowly) and seal with a foam box. Additionally, choose the fastest delivery method possible to minimize the degradation of samples during transportation.
