Meta Transcriptome Sequencing
Metatranscriptomics, also known as environmental transcriptomics, refers to the study of the entire gene transcription and transcriptional regulation patterns of microbial communities in a specific environment at a specific time on a holistic level. It aims to reveal the adaptive mechanisms of microorganisms under different environmental pressures and explore the interaction mechanisms between the environment and microorganisms. Its applicable scope includes fields such as human microecology, environment, industry, and agriculture. Metatranscriptomics focuses on all RNA in the ecological environment, avoiding the challenges of microbial isolation and cultivation, and effectively expanding the utilization space of microbial resources.
BiotechPack's transcriptome sequencing service is based on the Illumina high-throughput sequencing platform, capable of detecting the overall transcription level of any species at the single-nucleotide level. In addition to analyzing the structure and expression levels of transcripts, it can also discover unknown and rare transcripts, and accurately identify alternative splicing sites and coding sequence single nucleotide polymorphisms (cSNPs), thus providing the most comprehensive transcriptome information.
