LC-MS Metabolomics

Metabolomics primarily studies small molecule metabolites with a molecular weight of less than 1500 in various metabolic pathways. By detecting the spectra of a series of samples and combining chemical pattern recognition methods, it qualitatively and quantitatively analyzes all or part of the metabolites in biological systems. Metabolomics aims to identify and quantify hundreds of metabolites in complex samples, providing a valuable method for understanding cellular biochemical processes. Metabolomics analysis can determine the pathophysiological state, gene function, drug toxicity, and efficacy in newborns, and potentially identify relevant biomarkers.
