Single-cell mass cytometry (Mass Cytometry) is a flow technology that utilizes mass spectrometry to perform multi-parameter detection on single cells. It combines the high-speed analysis capability of traditional flow cytometry with the high-resolution ability of mass spectrometry. Mass cytometry detects proteins and can target specific proteins, preventing the omission of low-abundance yet important proteins. Due to its high throughput, mass cytometry can analyze large quantities of cells.
