Lignan, also known as open-ring secoisolariciresinol diglucoside, is a type of phytoestrogen that closely resembles human estrogen. Flaxseed lignan is currently the most researched and applied lignan, primarily found in flaxseeds, with content generally accounting for about 0.9% to 1.5% of the seed weight, which is 100 to 800 times higher than other lignan-containing foods. Of course, the content also depends on flax variety, climate, and ecological conditions. Studies have reported that flaxseed lignan has a certain preventive effect on estrogen-dependent diseases such as breast cancer, menstrual syndrome, prostate cancer, and osteoporosis.

About Samples

Sample transportation: Based on 3-4 kilograms of dry ice evaporating in one day, please use a sufficient amount of dry ice for transportation (it is recommended to use larger blocks of dry ice, as they evaporate more slowly) and seal with a foam box. Also, try to choose a faster mailing method to reduce the possibility of sample degradation during transportation.
