Metal Elements
BTP-Metal Element Analysis
In nature, most metals exist in compound form, while a few metals like gold, silver, platinum, and bismuth can exist in a free state. Most metal minerals are oxides and sulfides. Other forms include chlorides, sulfates, carbonates, and silicates. Metals include substances such as gold, silver, copper, iron, manganese, and zinc. At one atmosphere and a normal temperature of 25 degrees Celsius, only mercury is not solid (it is liquid), while other metals are solid. Most pure metals are silver-colored, with a few exceptions like gold, which is yellow, and copper, which is dark red. Metals are widely found in nature and are extremely commonly used in everyday life, making them a very important and widely applied category of materials in modern industry.
BTP Company has established ICP-MS as the main analytical method, enabling quantitative and qualitative analysis of various metal substances.
ICP-MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry): ICP-MS consists of an ICP torch, an interface device, and a mass spectrometer; to achieve optimal performance, the working conditions of each part must be set. Since most important elements have ionization energies below 10.5 eV, it has high sensitivity. A few elements with higher ionization energies, such as C, O, Cl, Br, can also be detected, though with lower sensitivity.
BTP can detect metal elements
BTP technicians, through years of technical accumulation, use ICP-MS and related material standards to conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of various metal elements:

Metal Element Analysis Service List
About Samples
Serum, plasma, urine, bile, bile acids;
Cells, liver, brain tissue, and other animal tissues, as well as feces;
Plants, yeast, microorganisms, etc.
Sample Requirements:
Blood samples, bile, etc.: 10 microliters
Various tissues: 10 milligrams
Feces, etc.: 10 milligrams
For other sample types and quantities, please contact BTP sales.
Sample Transportation:Assuming 3-4 kilograms of dry ice evaporates in one day, please use a sufficient amount of dry ice for transportation (it is recommended to use larger blocks of dry ice as they evaporate more slowly), and seal with a foam box. Also, try to choose faster postal methods to reduce the possibility of sample degradation during transportation.
Bilingual Project Report in Chinese/English
In the technical report, BTP will provide you with a detailed bilingual technical report in Chinese and English, which includes:
1. Experimental Procedures (Chinese and English)
2. Related Mass Spectrometry Parameters (Chinese and English)
3. Quantitative or Qualitative Information of Identified Substances
4. Mass Spectrometry Images
5. Raw Data
