Physical and Chemical Analysis Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

1. Manage the physicochemical analysis team: manage the physicochemical laboratory, equipment, and documents; independently design experiments and lead experimenters to achieve expected results;
2. Responsible for the development and testing of liquid chromatography methods, such as SEC, IEC, Titer, glycan, sialic acid, and Tween content, and carry out release method validation work;
3. Responsible for the development and testing of capillary electrophoresis methods, such as reduced/non-reduced CE-SDS, cIEF, CZE, etc., and carry out release method validation work;
4. Responsible for the evaluation and application of new technologies/instruments;
5. Formulate and implement characterization analysis plans for monoclonal antibodies for IND and BLA submissions, including studies on physicochemical properties and stability to support formulation development;
6. Possess cross-departmental communication skills, effectively follow up and communicate project progress. Analyze and solve abnormal problems encountered in experiments, and promptly organize and analyze data to support project progress;
7. Able to proactively undertake multiple responsibilities, with good decision-making abilities.

Job Requirements

1. Master's degree or above in pharmacy, analytical chemistry, cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, immunology, biotechnology, basic medicine, or related fields;
2. Over 5 years of relevant work experience; candidates with a PhD and over 2 years of relevant work experience are preferred; rich experience in the development and optimization of antibody physicochemical analysis methods;
3. Proficient in using instruments such as UPLC/HPLC, CE, microplate reader, and understand the methods and related principles;
4. Good understanding of cGMP, pharmacopeia testing, biopharmaceutical submissions, and registration regulations, with strong compliance awareness;
5. Ability to conduct literature searches, excellent English proficiency, able to read and translate English literature fluently;
6. Demonstrate good dedication, teamwork spirit, and communication and coordination skills.
