Methodological Validation of Protein Isoelectric Point Analysis

The isoelectric point of a protein is closely related to its amino acid sequence and three-dimensional structure. Each specific protein has its fixed isoelectric point. This allows proteins to focus in a very narrow zone, achieving efficient separation and obtaining information about the protein's isoelectric point.
