What is the principle of dead cell removal (Dead cell removal, DCR)?
Dead Cell Removal (DCR) enriches viable cell samples by using magnetic beads conjugated with annexin V antibodies to capture dead cells. Annexin V is a marker for dead and apoptotic cells. The magnetic beads conjugated with annexin V antibodies specifically recognize and bind to annexin V, allowing the removal of dead cells from the sample through processes such as elution.
