Conjugate Vaccine Circular Dichroism Detection
Conjugate vaccines are a type of vaccine thatcombines a weak antigen with a strong antigenas a carrier to produce the vaccine. The purpose of mixing the weak and strong antigens is to elicit a stronger immune response to the weak antigen. In conjugate vaccines, the weak antigen is covalently attached to the strong antigen, triggering a stronger immune response to the weak antigen. The most common weak antigens are polysaccharides attached to strong protein antigens.
Circular Dichroism (CD) Detection of Conjugate Vaccines refers to the CD analysis of chiral or chiral-structured antigen molecules such as proteins in conjugate vaccines. Through CD detection, information about the secondary structure and conformational stability of antigen molecules can be obtained, which is beneficial for the development and quality control of conjugate vaccines.CDDetectionis commonly performed using a circular dichroism spectrometer, which can simultaneously measure the absorption or rotation of molecules to left and right circularly polarized light, obtaining the circular dichroism spectrum of the molecules. Based on the shape, characteristic peaks, and absorption or rotation intensity of the circular dichroism spectrum, one can determine information regarding the structure and conformational changes of the molecules.

BioTech Pack Inc.(BTP), operates its laboratory under an ISO9001 certified quality control system and is accredited by the national CNAS laboratory. We provide drug quality research services that comply with global regulatory requirements. We utilize advanced circular dichroism spectrometers to offer professional CD detection services for analyzing the spatial configuration and conformation of antigen molecules in conjugate vaccines. Compared to traditional methods, this technology offers several advantages: 1.Short measurement time, simple, and efficient; 2. Requires a minimal amount of sample and can be measured in dilute solutions; 3. No molecular weight or size restrictions; 4. Highly sensitive to secondary and tertiary structural changes, capable of detecting minute alterations.
