The analysis process of recombinant protein expression and purification products, especially the development and process establishment of recombinant protein products, requires confirmation of the N-terminus and C-terminus sequences of the protein. This technology allows for the determination of both N-terminus and C-terminus sequences in a single experiment. The mass spectrometry-based N-terminus sequencing technology can achieve sequence determination of N-terminally blocked and PEGylated proteins, complementing Edman sequencing. This analysis can be used to confirm whether the recombinant protein is fully expressed, to detect any breakage during the expression process, and to determine if there are any modifications to the N-terminus and C-terminus sequences of the recombinant protein.

After obtaining the target protein sequence, we first analyze the customer's target protein sequence, select specific proteases for digestion, obtain suitable lengths of protein N-terminus and C-terminus peptides, and then conduct mass spectrometry analysis to confirm the target protein's N-terminus and C-terminus sequence information.
