Quantitative Proteomics and Targeted Proteomics

Quantitative proteomics and targeted proteomics are both branches of proteomics. Quantitative proteomics studies all proteins in a system in terms of their quantity, while targeted proteomics focuses on specific target proteins in the proteome, as opposed to untargeted proteomics.

Aside from differences in research subjects, content, or objectives, quantitative proteomics and targeted proteomics also differ in research techniques.
