Obesity-related immune factors

Obesity is a systemic disease that not only causes changes in body shape but also accompanies various diseases and complications, affecting overall health. Common complications include high blood sugar, high blood lipids, and high blood pressure, collectively known in medicine as 'metabolic syndrome.' Adipose tissue secretes fluid factors that promote the development of metabolic syndrome and vascular diseases. These substances include leptin, adiponectin, resistin, TNF-α, IL-6, PAI-1, angiotensinogen, and CRP (C-reactive protein). Other cytokines such as adhesion molecules ICAM-1, VCAM-1, and E-selectin are also related to endothelial cell activation and atherosclerosis in obese patients.

About the sample

1. Only 25µL sample required, while conventional ELISA requires 50µL or 100µL.
2. Suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, and various body fluids.
3. Store body fluid samples at -80°C and transport using dry ice.
